Succulent lamb fresh from our South Devon Farm. Our meat is prepared by a small frienfly, family business. Modern and efficient but small enough to treat each lamb individually. The meat is hung in the chiller for a week to enhance the natural flavour and eating quality. The lamb can be prepared in a wide variety of cuts to suit you. As well as traditional joints and chops we can prepare French trimmed racks, shank portions or shoulders boned and rolled filled with our stuffings.

Shute Fruit and Produce is an established family farm run as a Pick-Your-Own. The fertile red soil of the stunning Teign estuary,
an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, contributes to the flavour of our fruit and vegetables.
You get the pick of the crop. We carefully choose our fruit and vegetable varieties for flavour. Because you pick it,
you get freshness that almost squeaks. We organise regular open days with childrens’ activities, cookery demonstrations,
tastings and farm-made teas. Discounte prices are offered for charities and larger volumes. We also attend local Farmers’ Markets with our produce and farm-made preserves.
Call us for details of special events, crop availability and the Farmers’ Markets we attend.

We propagate as many plants as we can ourselves and have four poly-tunnels in which they are started. They are then hardened
off in outside beds. We mainly grow hardy alpines, herbs, perennials and a few smaller shrubs, plus seasonal items such as
Christmas wreaths, planted baskets/bowls, hanging baskets, summer rose bushes and fuschias.
Springfield Nursary is enclosed within the walls of a half acre 150 year old walled garden with a south facing aspect, near
the village of Blackawton. The wholesale nursary was established in 1992 and has been trading since then in the Devon area.
In 2003, Springfield Nursery started selling direct to the public through local farmers' markets. Visits to the nursery can be arranged by prior appointment.
