Hand built by a Devon Master Craftsman using mainly locally sourced materials, the Cadleigh Shepherd’s Hut is a touch of luxury set in its own glade at Cadleigh Manor. From a “mini-moon” to a summer break or a writer’s retreat, the Cadleigh Shepherd’s Hut is just a little bit different.

Suitable for a couple or a single, The Shepherd’s Hut is fully en-suite which means there are no night-time outside journeys in the dark to a compost toilet. There is mains water and electricity to the hut.

The Hut is equipped with a cosy double bed, a wood-burner, a two ring gas cooker, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kitchen crockery and utensils. In addition there is hot and cold running water, a sink, an electric shower and a flush toilet. There are USB charging points by the bed.

With the Hut comes a barbecue, a fire pit, table and chairs, a teak bench and the chance to relax.

There are a number of different resident birds including a nearby family of buzzards, grazing deer and rabbits.

There are games available to play in the garden and a 1600sq metre croquet lawn.

We provide the bedding and towels.
