Ivybridge Walking & Outdoor Festival 2008

The 2008 Ivybridge Walking Festival started on Saturday 26th and runs (or walks) until 5th May. The Walking Festival now includes events from Dartmoor National Park, South Devon AONB and The Devon Wildlife Trust together with special events arranged in Ivybridge. New Ivybridge Watermark is now open!

The Watermark, the new Ivybridge Library and Community Resource Centre opened on time on Monday 14th April 2008. Work started on Monday 23rd April 2007 on the Erme Court, Leonards Road site and Midas Construction have completed the work in 51 weeks. You can view the architects' record of the complete built here!
The Watermark now has its own web site giving full details of all the new building's facilities: www.ivybridgewatermark.co.uk.

New Local History Section

We now have a new section devoted to local history based on published but out of print books of local interest. We are indebted to the authors, Bob Mann and Alec Rogers, for their kind permission to reproduce the books in this section.
